In my case, translation has always meant cooperation. My practice in this field began during the early years of my master’s studies, when I cooperated with the Christian Children’s Foundation on the translation of hundreds (thousands!) of letters exchanged between Polish children and their friends in the USA. In later years I cooperated with (among other places) the Jewish Historical Institute and film institutions and studios. Currently, I am cooperating with a poet-friend on a project of an entirely different nature: the first translation of William Blake’s Jerusalem into Polish.
